Château Palais Cardinal, Saint-Émilion Grand Cru, a wine from exceptional terroir to the south of the town of Saint-Émilion. The 19 hectares are ideally situated on alluvial soils composed of pure gravel and sandy loam. Palais Cardinal was originally the name given to a 12th century palace in Saint-Émilion that stood in the same place. The vineyard of Château Palais Cardinal has been in existence since 1843. The aim of the winery is to create fine wines, whilst maintaining full respect for the environment and the winemaking traditions of the Bordeaux region.
